Lovely photo - I'll bet you do miss her . . .
ReplyDeleteAwww, sweet Cessa. Such a kind face.
ReplyDeleteI bet you do. It takes a very long time for the big gapping hole they leave behind to heal. {Hugs}
ReplyDeleteSorry chickee! (((HUGS)))
ReplyDeleteSometimes that hole just always stays there...I guess someday it will be filled when we are with them again...
Awww I love her furry looking face!
ReplyDeleteAww...what a sweet old girl. Love the fuzzy furry pic.
ReplyDelete(((HUGS))) I know it hurts. I won't sugar coat it. It will hurt a long time from now too. But, another love will come along to not fill the hole, but to lessen the gaping wound.
ReplyDeleteI know this for sure. Freya's loss still HURTS. But after Friday's mishap, I discovered that Roxanne lessened the gap, which eases the pain a bit. I don't even want to think of the mess I'd be if we had lost her Friday night.
There will never be another mare like Cessa. But, there will be another mare for you to fall in love with in the future. I promise.
