...when it can rain over 4" in a couple days and the arena takes 1 day to be dry enough to work.
But the good news is it DID rain and things are looking nice & green now.

You and I were thinking the exact same thing today!! I dragged my round pen this evening, now that I have something to pull my drag with!
ReplyDeleteI wish my arena was as big as yours, I can't run barrels in mine. That's ok, I am just thankful I have an arena (although an indoor arena would be really nice considering that we get about 8 month of rain a year!)
We got about 2 1/2 inches of rain and when out in the pasture very small puddles in the low spots, last year that woulda made a lake.
ReplyDeleteWe managed 1.5" total. The sun is back, but every little bit helps. My pasture is still soggy. But, it means the grass will grow a bit now!
ReplyDeleteId like to invite everyone to a post I've just published honoring the TV show "Big Valley", and also actor Peter Breck. Included with this post are 2 personal recipes that was sent to me by Peters wife Diane, so please stop by and say hello and share your memories of this classic TV show. Richard
