The other kinda horsepower

Over the last couple days a few of my blogger pals have been posting about the other horsepower... automobile horsepower, BEC and her honey got some sweet new rides (yes, 2 cars!) and Lytha was posting about her dream cars.
Then I realized, I don't think I've ever shown you guys MY car... Dream car that is lol

A '68 Camaro SS.  This car just makes me drooool.  I'd like this paint job shown here too, or a custom paint job that would be a really dark purple, almost black and either this stripe or racing strips from hood to trunk.
Don't worry, I'd only get that custom paint if the paint was NOT original and in good condition.  To paint over good original paint, that would almost be sacrilege!!

  1. We are on the EXACT same page. My girlfriend had one in high school (still has it). Her dad built it from the tires up, stock. (he had connections and passion) It was the funnest time of my life in that car.

  2. DROOOOOLLLLL!!! But to be honest I'd have my old 71' Mach 1 with the 351 cleveland..:-))

  3. I love the 67-69 Cameros. I would love to have one of those in the garage as well. We have a '67 RS sitting at my cousin's in SD that needs to be rebuilt (from the ground up). I'm hoping it comes up on the 'list' to get rebuilt this year.

We are waiting for My Honey's '70 Camero to come out of the shop and then the '65 Limo is going in to be redone. I'll have to get pics of the Limo-before and after. It's not something I ever would have picked out, but it's going to be a fun 'party' car-LOL.

I like the sounds of Ed's '71 Mach 1 too.

Hopefully the Camero you want don't have to stay a dream for long. With the economy so soft right now, MH has been picking up his classics for a fraction of what they cost a few years ago. I don't know if you guys have the same thing going on up there in Canada or not?

  4. Cool car...hope you can find a way to make it a reality!

I know nothing about classic cars - but I can appreciate a nice looking one when I see it! :-)

My dream car...probably a BMW or Porsche Cayenne.
