I sure would not have so many, but maybe that isnt a bad thing. But it is a nice feeling to be ready for winter.Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18035210092855895218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8071043294700974116.post-37077156385454671642012-09-04T12:36:08.911-06:002012-09-04T12:36:08.911-06:00It'd always good to be stocked up for the wint...It'd always good to be stocked up for the winter! And that will be awesome when you can cut and bale your own field! I wish we had enough property to do that!
From someone who does live in a super rainy, wet area... we have problems getting hay and good hay at that. We are lucky if we get 2 cuttings done around here. And we are still waiting on the field we buy from to do their 2nd cutting. Once that is ready to go it will fill us up for a couple months. But we don't have a lot of hay storage so we can only stock up a couple tons of hay at a time. Once all the local hay is gone, we have to buy hay from the eastern part of our state... which is excellent hay but super expensive. So winter time gets tough.
Paint Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05095673661149903754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8071043294700974116.post-35124511833778872812012-09-04T03:10:28.724-06:002012-09-04T03:10:28.724-06:00Good news that you got your hay in... that must be...Good news that you got your hay in... that must be a relief! Hiring someone or doing it yourself are both tricky. Either way, the barn is full, so that is good.Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01736592362765508427noreply@blogger.com
